Character Strength: Purpose

This week our Positivity Project (P2) activities will be focused on Purpose. P2 defines it as: You have beliefs about the meaning of life and life’s purpose.  You seek to be part of something greater than yourself.  


Spring Testing

Our testing season will begin next week. Our testing times are listed below, so you can plan around these for any appointments your child may have coming up. We will be doing some test review in our classrooms, along with our regular curriculum.

Multiplication

We began our Ice Cream Multiplication Challenge this week!  Please check in with your child each week to see how they are doing.  IXL, flashcards, or EveryDay Math online games are great ways to practice.  Students will earn ice cream scoops and toppings for each quiz they pass. :)



Spring Weather

As we get back to school and temperatures warm up, please remind your child that they will need a coat for recess if the temperature has not reached 60 degrees.  If they are playing and get warm, they are asked to tie their coat around their waist.

Writing: Informational Writing- Finish Topic: Crocodiles

Grammar:  Synonyms and Antonyms

Math: Geometry - More Geometry (lines, line segments, rays, angles and 3D shapes)
