Character Strength: Appreciation of Beauty and Excellence
This week our Positivity Project (P2) activities will be focused on Fairness. P2 defines it as: You notice and value the world’s beauty and people’s skills. You don’t take things for granted.
Spring Testing
Now that Spring Break is over, we will be getting into our testing season before we know it. We will not start until May, but I wanted to share our times with you, so you can plan around these for any appointments your child may have coming up. We will be doing some test review in our classrooms, along with our regular curriculum.
*Please make every effort to avoid appointments or absences on our testing days.*
Multiplication
We will begin our Ice Cream Multiplication Challenge this week! Please check in with your child each week to see how they are doing. IXL, flashcards, or EveryDay Math online games are great ways to practice. Students will earn ice cream scoops and toppings for each quiz they pass. :)
Kleenex! We are in need of some for our classroom. If you can bring some in, that would be great!
Spring Weather
As we get back to school and temperatures warm up, please remind your child that they will need a coat for recess if the temperature has not reached 60 degrees. If they are playing and get warm, they are asked to tie their coat around their waist.
