Report Cards/IXL Diagnostic/Lexia End of Trimester Progress

2nd trimester report cards will be sent home on Wednesday.  If you have any questions regarding your child’s report card please feel free to email me.  In addition, check out your child's IXL Diagnostic levels. They should start in the 300s. If the scores are lower, extra time is needed to fill the gaps in math before 4th grade. Also, Lexia scores for 3rd grade are 13-15. At this point, they should be close to or on level 15. If your child is below, extra time would be so helpful.  Thank you for all you do to support your child’s learning at home!

Opinion Writing Portfolio

Students will be bringing home a stapled packet of their writing over the last 6 weeks. We have been working on writing Opinion Essays, and students have made amazing progress from their first piece to the last piece, where they wrote about their opinion on Zoos! Check these out as they will come home tomorrow.

Snacks!

We have run out of snacks again. Some students continuously don't bring a snack. If you can help by making sure they have something everyday, that would be great. Also, if you want to send more snacks into us, that works too. I have also emailed PTO to see if they can get us more too.

March Reading Madness

We have started reading our book match-up’s for March is Reading Month. We are doing a basketball type theme, but our bracket is centered around books!
