IXL Diagnostic/Lexia End of Trimester Progress
Please check out your child's IXL Diagnostic levels. They should start in the 300s. If the scores are lower, extra time is needed to fill the gaps in math before 4th grade.
Here is an example of what you need to look at:
Also, Lexia scores for 3rd grade are 13-15. At this point, they should be close to or on level 15. If your child is below, extra time would be so helpful. Thank you for checking in with your child in these areas. If they aren't sure what level they are, please don't hesitate to ask me.
Multiplication Facts
Don’t forget to have your child practice and review their multiplication facts weekly! We did a 30 question quiz this week and some students found they had forgotten some of the facts they learned. IXL F Skills, Flashcards, or online games are good ways to practice.
End of Trimester 2
Just a reminder that the end of the 2nd Trimester is this Friday, March 5th. Report cards will be sent home the week of March 8th.
