Pizza Multiplication

We are beginning the last week of Multiplication Pizza! Students are realizing that extra practice is helping them be successful.  I am proud of how hard they have been working!  We will have our pizza celebration this Thursday before our ½ day dismissal.  Students passing through 4’s earn 1 slice, those passing through 7’s earn 2 slices, and those who have passed through the 10’s earn slices and dessert.  Please check in with your child on how they are doing and provide extra time for practice as much as possible.  Thank you!

 

Valentine's Day at Lincoln School

February 14 is quickly approaching and of course, things this year will be a little different.  It just so happens that the 14th is on a Sunday this year and students do not have school on Friday the 12th or on Monday the 15th.  So, hold off on the candy and packaged Valentines, here is the plan...

During the week of February 8 - 11, our Positivity Project (P2) activities will be focused on "Love."  Love means that you value close relationships with others and being close to people. The character strength of love represents the way we think, feel, and behave towards the people with whom we have close relationships. 

Classes will have activities and lessons in their morning meetings that will take the place of the traditional card exchange and parties.  No need to send anything in from home, we will handle it all in-house.
