Sept. 14th - Sept. 18th
3rd Grade News
We had a fabulous first week in 3rd grade! We spent time getting to know each other and learning how to be safe while we’re back at school. This week we will have a half day and a full day together at school, then will connect remotely on Friday. Third graders will meet from 10:30 - 10:53 through a Google Meet. We will review how students can access our Google Meeting this week at school so that they are prepared for Friday. If you have any questions, always feel free to email me!

Reminders
Third graders will enter and exit the building at the south end of the building, Door 6. For safety reasons, this is the only door our 3rd graders will be using to enter and exit the building throughout the year. For pick-up and drop-off, please plan to meet your child at Door 6.
Please send a nutritious snack and a water bottle to school with your child each day. On half days, we will have snack after first recess. On full days, since students will be eating lunch at 11:30, snacks will be eaten after last recess at 2:00. Water bottles can be refilled at the water filling stations in our hallway.
We would like to ask students to bring a beach towel to school. We would like to take students outside for the opportunity to have some “mask free” learning time. We will distance students appropriately from one another.
Please plan to bring in a small item to share the first day of school (favorite toy, souvenir, award, photo, etc.) Also, please plan on bringing a good book to read from your home.
